Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team in a fully remote role. You will administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, and support end users across the organization while aligning with East Coast hours.

The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of cloud technologies, and experience with automation via PowerShell, Graph APIs, and ITIL-based processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies.
• Understanding ITIL framework and IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
• Troubleshoot end-user issues and meet SLAs.
• Maintain incidents, service requests, and problem records.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Develop automation with PowerShell for administration and reporting.
• Monitor security, health, and usage across Microsoft 365.
