Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Merchant Services Sales professional to generate and expand client relationships for small business payment solutions (0–3 million). You will partner with branches, coach staff, manage leads, present solutions, close deals, and drive referrals in a remote-friendly environment across Michigan and beyond.

You will collaborate with multiple bank units, use CRM dashboards to track progress, and aim to exceed daily/weekly targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 2+ years of proven sales/inside sales experience in financial services with the ability to close deals and achieve ambitious targets.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and build relationships with new clients, converting leads into valuable partnerships.
• Sell a range of solutions (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, check processing, gift cards, ACH) and navigate hardware/software needs.
• Build pipeline, convert leads, close deals, and exceed targets.
• Collaborate with bank units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize profitability.
• Resolve client concerns and maintain long-lasting relationships with expertise and service.
• Coach and motivate merchant education and sales growth within branch coverage area.
• Report leads and opportunities in the CRM and analyze trends with dashboards/reports.
• Leverage partners to learn products/services for cross-sales opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
