Huntington is seeking a Merchant Services Sales professional in Houston to expand client relationships by providing expert payment solutions to small businesses and to partner with branches on cross-sell opportunities.

The role involves building a robust pipeline, presenting Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, check processing, gift cards, ACH, coaching branch staff, and consistently meeting or exceeding targets while leveraging CRM dashboards for insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–5 years of merchant services sales experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in small business sales from $0–$3 million.
• Experience in virtual sales in a call center environment.
• Proficient with Salesforce.
• Fluency in an additional language is a plus.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and build relationships with new clients and convert leads into partnerships.
• Sell Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, check processing, gift cards, ACH.
• Build pipeline, close deals and exceed targets.
• Collaborate with bank units to identify cross-selling and maximize profitability.
• Resolve client concerns and build long-lasting relationships.
• Coach branch staff and support merchant education and sales growth.
• Report leads and status updates in CRM; analyze sales trends.
• Leverage partners to learn products and services for cross-sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
