Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a high-energy merchant services sales professional in Grand Rapids. You will expand client relationships by offering expert payment solutions for mid-market clients with $3–$50 million in annual sales.

You will collaborate with business bankers, coach partners, manage leads, present solutions, close deals, and drive referrals. Travel may be required, and Salesforce/Excel proficiency is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of proven sales experience in financial services.
• Ability to close deals and achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and build relationships with new clients.
• Sell a range of solutions (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, ACH) and navigate hardware/software needs.
• Build pipeline, convert leads, and close deals while exceeding targets.
• Collaborate with bank units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize profitability.
• Resolve client concerns and build long-lasting relationships based on expertise and service.
• Teach, coach, motivate, and drive merchant education within your coverage team.
• Accurately report leads, opportunities and status updates in the CRM and analyze trends with dashboards.
