Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a merchant services sales professional to generate and grow client relationships in the business/middle market space with annual sales between $3–$50 million. You will partner with business bankers, coach partners, and manage referrals and calls.

Responsibilities include prospecting new clients, selling Visa/Mastercard/Amex/Discover, building pipeline, and reporting activity in CRM while delivering exceptional service and cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 4 years of proven sales experience in financial services.
• Ability to close deals and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and build relationships with new clients, converting leads into valuable partnerships.
• Sell a range of solutions (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, ACH) and navigate hardware/software needs.
• Build pipeline, convert leads, navigate complex hardware and software needs, and close deals, consistently exceeding targets.
• Collaborate with bank units to identify cross-selling possibilities and maximize client profitability.
• Resolve client concerns and build long-lasting relationships based on expertise and service.
• Teach, coach, motivate, drive merchant education and sales growth within your banker coverage team.
• Accurately report all leads/opportunities/status updates in CRM and analyze trends in sales behavior.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
