Job summary

Thanx, a loyalty and guest engagement platform, is hiring for Merchant Operations. The role focuses on technical configuration of loyalty programs, mobile apps, online ordering, and POS integrations, ensuring merchants are set up and running.

You will partner with Implementation and Customer Success, monitor location health, investigate issues, and deliver automation to reduce manual work. The team embraces AI-native tooling and expects data-driven problem solving, equity for all employees, and

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing problems across multiple systems.
• Track record of finding root causes, not just tickets.
• Comfort with data; SQL is a big plus.
• Experience using AI tools to speed up analysis.
• Clear written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to automate repetitive work.
• Ability to thrive in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure merchant setups for loyalty, rewards, app, and online ordering.
• Connect and manage partner integrations.
• Investigate and resolve issues with evidence for engineering.
• Monitor location health and broken integrations.
• Manage card network enrollment with Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
• Build and improve automations.
• Communicate updates clearly to merchants and teammates.
