BCA Financial Services, Inc. is seeking detail-oriented Insurance Claim Collectors for a remote, full-time position.

You will work with insurance companies to determine causes of denial, prepare and submit documentation, and follow up until payment, while maintaining records per policy. Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in healthcare revenue cycle, strong knowledge of payer types, and excellent verbal/written communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in healthcare revenue cycle with billing and collections.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance environment and payer types.
• Understanding of common coding concepts for claims.
• HIPAA knowledge and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Receive inbound and make outbound calls regarding insurance matters and document all attempts on the collection system.
• Research and analyze accounts to resolve obstacles to payment.
• Verify insurance benefits through various sources and websites.
• Maintain records and update accounts to reflect current information.
• Contact managed care, governmental and commercial insurers to affect payment.
• Escalate payor delays to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to consumer inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
• Meet productivity and performance standards on a consistent basis.
