Job summary

BCA Financial Services, Inc. is hiring Insurance Claim Collectors for a remote role in the United States.

As part of the medical insurance collection team, you will determine denials, assemble documentation, and pursue resolution to payment or recourse, maintaining accurate records throughout the process. The role requires at least 2 years in healthcare revenue cycle with emphasis on insurance billing and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Healthcare revenue cycle experience and familiarity with insurance billing and collections.
• Understanding of managed care, government and commercial carriers and reimbursement methods.
• Knowledge of health insurance claim coding concepts and ability to communicate needs to clients.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound and make outbound calls regarding insurance matters and document attempts in the system.
• Research and analyze accounts using data and experience to resolve payment obstacles.
• Verify insurance benefits and maintain current information while following productivity standards.
• Contact payors to affect payment and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
