Job summary

DriveTime is seeking a qualified candidate to adjudicate automotive warranty claims and validate diagnostic and repair recommendations. The role requires strong knowledge of vehicle systems, pricing, and repair practices, plus clear communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, team-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a high-school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and 3+ years of automotive diagnostics experience.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of automotive systems, repair procedures, parts pricing and labor guides.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication; strong negotiation skills.
• Proficient in typing and general computer skills.
• Comfortable in a high-volume, collaborative environment with multiple priorities.
• Solutions-oriented approach to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working with repair facilities to validate, adjudicate, and approve payment for diagnostics and repair recommendations for pre-sale repairs as well as customer vehicles under warranty.
• Adjudicates claims within approval limits and in accordance with department & industry standards.
• Notates all actions and interactions with shops and customers in internal systems with proper documentation.
• Navigate department resources to ensure adherence to processes and policies.
• Manage list of assigned pending claims and provide timely follow-up with repair facilities to decision claims.
• Other duties as assigned.
