Job summary

DriveTime is seeking an experienced claims specialist to adjudicate and approve payments for diagnostics and repairs for vehicles under warranty and pre-sale repairs. You will document all interactions with shops and customers in internal systems and ensure adherence to established processes and policies.

The role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, parts pricing, and labor guides, with ~3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient typing and general computer skills.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, repair procedures, parts pricing and labor guides.
• High-school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validate, adjudicate, and approve payment for diagnostics and repair recommendations for pre-sale repairs and warranty vehicles.
• Adjudicate claims within approval limit in line with department and industry standards.
• Notate actions and interactions with shops and customers in internal systems with proper documentation.
• Navigate department resources to ensure adherence to processes and policies.
• Maintain list of pending claims and provide timely follow-up with repair facilities.
