DriveTime is seeking an Automotive Claims Adjudicator to validate and approve payments for diagnostics and repairs for pre‑sale and warranty vehicles. The role requires understanding of repair procedures, pricing, and documentation within our claims systems.

Applicants should have strong verbal and written communication skills, be adept at negotiation, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures, parts pricing, labor guides, and repair shop procedures/practices.
• Must have clear and professional verbal and written communication, as well as strong negotiation skills.
• Is proficient in typing and general computer skills.
• Must be comfortable in a high-volume, collaborative environment, and managing multiple priorities.
• Must be solutions-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Validate, adjudicate, and approve payment for diagnostics and repair recommendations for pre-sale repairs and customer vehicles under warranty.
• Adjudicates claims within approval limits and per standards.
• Notate all actions and interactions with shops and customers in internal systems.
• Navigate department resources to follow processes and policies.
• Manage assigned pending claims and provide timely follow-up with facilities to decision claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
