Job summary

DriveTime Automotive Group Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented warranty claims adjudicator. In this remote role, you’ll validate, adjudicate, and approve payments for diagnostics and repairs tied to pre‑sale and warranty cases. You’ll collaborate with repair facilities and document actions in internal systems to maintain process accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in automotive diagnostics, strong communication, and solid computer skills, with an emphasis on organization and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must reside in TX, UT, GA, FL, NV, NC, AZ, or TN.
• High-school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of automotive mechanical and diagnostic experience.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, parts pricing, labor guides, and shop procedures.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Typing, general computer skills, and ability to work in a high-volume, collaborative environment.
• Strong organizational and solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work with repair facilities to validate, adjudicate, and approve payment for diagnostics and repairs for pre-sale and warranty cases.
• Adjudicate claims within approval limits and in accordance with department and industry standards.
• Document all actions and interactions with shops and customers in internal systems.
• Navigate department resources to ensure adherence to process flows and policies.
• Manage a list of assigned pending claims and provide timely follow-up with repair facilities to make decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
