Harris Computer is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to proactively research and engage potential acquisition targets for a fast-paced M&A environment. The role focuses on building a robust pipeline, outbound prospecting, and due diligence support across software targets.

Expect to nurture relationships with founders and executives, manage CRM rigorously, and contribute to successful acquisitions. Some travel is required as part of founder meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

• Financial literacy to interpret statements and discuss basic valuation drivers.
• Career history of 3+ years with previous employers.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional self-drive, meticulous organization and execution of daily tasks.
• Proactive with a sense of urgency and a hunter outreach mindset.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% within Canada/USA for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and M&A pipeline development by sourcing software targets.
• Outbound outreach to build relationships with founders and senior leaders.
• Nurture long-term relationships positioning Harris as acquirer of choice.
• Maintain a disciplined CRM pipeline; track deal stages and forecast health.
• Support site visits, due diligence coordination, information flow with M&A team.
• Assist in delivering acquisitions and closing transactions.
