Job summary

Harris Computer seeks a seasoned Senior Corporate Development Associate to build a robust pipeline of vertical‑market software investments. You will identify, assess, and advance opportunities, while developing trusted relationships with founders and senior executives and partnering with the M&A execution team.

This highly autonomous role requires strong sourcing instincts, investment judgment, and the ability to work with senior leadership across the US and Canada, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or related environment.
• Proven success sourcing and advancing acquisition opportunities.
• Experience engaging with founders, owners, and senior executives.
• Strong understanding of vertical‑market software markets.
• Clear point of view on applying AI to streamline research and sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess prospective software investments and build relationships with targets.
• Move strongest opportunities through evaluation, offers, and closing with leadership.
• Collaborate with the M&A execution team and portfolio leadership.
• Mentor colleagues on sourcing, prioritization, and investment judgment.
• Leverage AI tools to improve market mapping and CRM discipline.
