Harris Computer seeks a Corporate Development Associate to help build and drive our M&A strategy across North America. You will identify software targets, initiate conversations with founders and executives, and position Harris as a trusted partner in acquisitions.

This autonomous role emphasizes relationship building, pipeline development, and proactive outreach, with exposure to senior leadership and ownership of outbound initiatives.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting targets in business development.
• Excellent relationship builder capable of engaging C-suite executives.
• Entrepreneurial, resilient, and able to work independently.
• Executive presence when engaging founders and senior leaders.
• 2–5 years of M&A experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the M&A pipeline by sourcing software companies aligned with our goals.
• Lead outbound prospecting and build rapport with business owners and senior leadership.
• Be a trusted partner by nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
• Innovate the outreach process with autonomous, visible improvements.
• Leverage the M&A CRM to manage the pipeline and track activities.
