Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a motivated Corporate Development Associate to drive our M&A strategy and build relationships with founders and executives across North America. You will self-manage, develop outreach strategies, and initiate conversations that lead to software acquisitions.

You will own the pipeline, lead outbound prospecting, and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers. This role rewards initiative, strategic thinking, and measurable impact within a fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in M&A (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with founders and executives.
• Self-motivated with autonomy and initiative.
• Excellent relationship-building and executive communication.
• Solid business acumen and ability to assess opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop the M&A pipeline by identifying and sourcing software companies aligned with investment goals.
• Lead outbound prospecting and build relationships with business owners and senior leadership.
• Be a trusted partner, nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
• Innovate outreach processes and bring autonomy to improvement efforts.
• Use our M&A CRM to manage the pipeline and track activities.
