Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) for a fully remote, highly competitive sales environment. You will qualify leads, educate prospects about the consignment process, and pass opportunities to the appropriate sales channel to close.

Expect to work 40 hours weekly with weekend shifts on Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu in a rapidly growing luxury marketplace. Compensation includes hourly base pay plus uncapped commissions, a $800/month commission at target, and

Qualifications

• Customer-service oriented with strong communication.
• Experience in outbound/inbound outreach.
• Familiarity with luxury fashion marketplace is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Qualify marketing generated leads through daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email
• Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps
• High degree of professionalism and excellent phone demeanor
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM
• Self-motivation and drive to excel in fast-paced environment
• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week)
• Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
• Familiarity with the luxury fashion marketplace
