Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to qualify leads and pass them to the appropriate sales channel to close consignors. This fully-remote, fast-paced role rewards customer-obsessed drive with base pay plus uncapped commissions.

Responsibilities include daily outreach to qualify leads, nurturing them via phone, text, or email, and educating prospects on the consignment process, brands accepted, and pricing expectations. Weekend shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Qualify marketing generated leads through daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email
• Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps
• High degree of professionalism and excellent phone demeanor
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM
• Self-motivation and drive to excel in fast-paced environment
• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week)
• Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
• Familiarity with the luxury fashion marketplace
