Job summary

The RealReal is the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated, resale luxury goods, with 40 million members and a rigorous authentication process. The Business Development Representative helps qualify leads and forwards them to the appropriate sales channel to grow consignor base in a fully remote, competitive sales environment.

Responsibilities include daily outreach, nurturing leads, and educating prospects on consignment, pricing, and accepted brands, with uncapped commission

Responsibilities

• Qualify marketing generated leads through daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email
• Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps
• High degree of professionalism and excellent phone demeanor
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, Salesforce, CRM
• Self-motivation and drive to excel in fast-paced environment
• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week)
• Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
• Familiarity with the luxury fashion marketplace
