Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Business Development Representative to qualify leads and hand them to the proper sales channel to close consignors. This fully remote role operates in EST with a base hourly pay plus uncapped commissions and a target-based monthly commission.

You will nurture leads via phone, text and email, using CRM tools to educate clients on the consigning process and pricing expectations. Weekend shifts are required, with Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu options.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, Salesforce, CRM.
• Self-motivation and drive to excel in fast-paced environment.

• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week).
• Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for prospective clients interested in consigning at The RealReal.
• Qualify marketing generated leads through daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries.
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business.
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email.
• Utilize internal tools to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps.
