Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to qualify leads and hand them to the right sales channel for consignors. This fully-remote, fast-paced sales environment rewards proactive outreach, inbound handling, and strong customer service.

You’ll work 40 hours per week, with weekend shifts (Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday) and a base hourly rate plus uncapped commissions. Ideal candidates are customer-obsessed, capable of articulating the consignment process, and

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume customer-facing roles.
• Able to work full-time 40 hours/week and one weekend day.
• Familiarity with luxury fashion marketplace is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Qualify marketing generated leads and field inbound inquiries.
• Pass qualified leads to the appropriate sales channel to close into new consignors.
• Nurture leads through follow-up via phone, text, and email.
• Educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps.
• Maintain professionalism and strong phone demeanor.
• Demonstrate strong customer service, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Utilize tools like G-Suite, Email, Salesforce, and CRM to manage workflows.
• Commit to full-time hours (40 hours/week) and weekend shifts.
