Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to qualify leads and route them to the appropriate sales channel for consignors. This fully remote role requires a customer-obsessed mindset and the ability to excel in a competitive sales environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for lead qualification and customer engagement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote sales environment and reach targets.
• Familiarity with luxury fashion marketplace a plus.

Responsibilities

• Qualify marketing-generated leads through daily outreach and handle inbound inquiries.
• Pass qualified leads to the appropriate sales channel to close new consignment business.
• Nurture leads with consistent follow-ups via phone, text, and email.
• Educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations, and next steps.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and phone demeanor.
• Demonstrate strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Utilize tools such as Salesforce and G-Suite to manage pipelines and communications.
• Display self-motivation and drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week).
• Work one weekend day with shifts Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu.
• Show familiarity with the luxury fashion marketplace.
