Prudential Financial seeks a Disability Claims Specialist to act as the Long-Term Disability technical expert and trusted resource for the Team Lead and claim professionals. You will guide complex claim matters, coach teams, and promote high-quality outcomes, while supporting risk-based decision making.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of Long-Term Disability claim management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Long-Term Disability policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations, benefit calculations.
• Strong communication, consultation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to independently analyze complex or high-risk claim scenarios and recommend strategies.
• Demonstrated success coaching claim professionals and building technical capability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Long-Term Disability technical expert to the Team Lead and claim professionals on complex claim management matters.
• Provide technical guidance on policy interpretation, medical and vocational considerations, claim strategy, benefit eligibility, and next steps.
