Job summary

Applied Biological Materials (abm) Inc. is seeking a Sales Account Manager for the U.S. West Territory, ideally based on the West Coast.

This remote role focuses on managing and growing customer accounts across academic, biotech, pharma, CRO, government, and research institutions. The successful candidate will have a Life Sciences background, 2+ years in sales/BD, and strong relationship-building skills, with travel within the territory and a potential path to long-term permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, account management, or technical sales within life sciences or biotech.
• Strong understanding of U.S. life science markets and customer needs.
• Experience selling cell lines, cell-based products, or related life science goods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand customer accounts across the U.S. West Territory, including key institutions.
• Identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Build long-term relationships with researchers, procurement contacts, and decision-makers.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, virtual and in-person, to understand research needs and opportunities to provide abm solutions.
• Develop territory and account plans, prioritize high-potential customers, and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Travel regularly within the territory for meetings, conferences, and events.
