Job summary

Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Central US to lead a high-performing Key Account Management team. The role focuses on growing market share across life sciences, government installations, biotech, pharma, and academia while managing field-based sales professionals.

Remote coverage extends across Western US from Seattle to Southern California; 60% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Life Sciences.
• 7 years of industry-related sales experience in life sciences / biotech.
• 3 years of managing/mentoring sales teams.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and leadership development frameworks.
• Ability to use metrics and KPIs to identify gaps and implement countermeasures.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and market share by leading western North America account management teams to achieve regional sales targets.
• Represent Molecular Devices at industry events and coach account managers to build relationships in focus accounts.
• Collaborate with internal and Cross-OPCO Danaher teams to develop solutions exceeding customer expectations.
• Champion standard sales processes and Danaher Business Systems; provide accurate forecasts and quote approvals.
• Contribute to product development and kaizen events; support onboarding and upskilling programs for the sales organization.
