Job summary

Abcam, part of the Danaher family, is seeking a Territory Account Manager to drive revenue in academic and biopharma accounts across Southern California. This remote role emphasizes building high-value relationships, expanding product offerings, and delivering measurable business impact.

You will manage a 50-75% travel schedule, engage with key scientists, provide market feedback, and use CRM to forecast opportunities. A life sciences degree and relevant sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related discipline.
• Demonstrable ability to speak to antibody-based applications, proteomics, reagents and similar protein based solutions and translate into business opportunities.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with scientific end-users and decision-makers in biopharma and academic markets.
• Experience in account management or technical support within life sciences with experience in selling solutions and services across complex research workflows.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts, paired with strong organizational and project management abilities and a proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive revenue growth within named focus accounts by expanding product and service opportunities.
• Develop and execute account plans to maximize wallet share across Abcam’s portfolio.
• Provide market and competitor feedback to inform strategy and product development.
• Deliver regular sales forecasts and manage activities aligned with revenue goals.
• Adopt and utilize CRM to manage leads, opportunities, and pipeline.
