Job summary

Applied Biological Materials (abm) Inc. is expanding in the United States and seeks a Business Development Account Manager for the U.S. West Territory.

The role focuses on managing existing accounts and developing new relationships across academic, biotech, pharma, CRO, government, and research institutions. The ideal candidate combines sales experience with life sciences knowledge, has a proactive, customer-first mindset, and is comfortable selling cell lines, primary cells, or related life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences required or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in business development, account management, or technical sales in life sciences
• Strong understanding of US life science market and customer segments
• Experience selling cell biology-related products is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand customer accounts in the U.S. West Territory including academic, biotech, pharma, CRO, government and research institutions
• Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
• Build long-term relationships with researchers, procurement contacts and decision-makers
• Conduct regular customer meetings (virtual and in-person) to understand research needs and opportunities
• Develop territory/account plans and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and meet revenue targets
• Represent the company at regional conferences and customer-facing events
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory for meetings, conferences, and events
