Intuit is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and SME to drive complex payroll tax resolutions across multiple states. You will govern SOPs, mentor teams, and manage high-stakes escalations while ensuring compliance and process improvement.

You will act as the primary technical resource, authoring and reviewing SOPs, conducting quarterly coaching, and supporting workflow optimization with AI tools. This is a remote, high-activity role in PTO.

Competenze

• Deep payroll tax knowledge across US jurisdictions and local taxes.
• Experience leading teams, coaching, and mentoring junior staff.
• Proven ability to author, review, and approve SOPs and KB articles.
• Demonstrated ownership of SLAs and proactive removal of workflow bottlenecks.
• Experience resolving high-stakes escalations with minimal guidance.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve daily tasks and processes.

Mansioni

• Be the primary real-time technical expert for TP1, TP2, TP3 staff and teach resolution paths.
• Own authoring, review, and approval of SOPs and KB articles across core operations.
• Conduct formal coaching sessions quarterly to close skill gaps.
• Lead team huddles, QA sessions, and update performance boards; back up Daily Stand-Ups.
• Oversee WIP, backlogs, and aging reports; recommend staffing adjustments.
• Resolve severe State and Federal payroll tax notices and amendments.
• Approve complex федераль (Form 941-X, W-2c) and State returns with audit trails.
