The position supports multi-state tax matters, oversees escalation handling, and leverages AI tools to enhance daily workflows, with overtime eligibility and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience focusing on complex tax defect resolution and multi-state filings.
• Experience as a lead, senior specialist, or SME with coaching or training junior staff.
• Advanced writing skills for SOPs and technical documents for a tax-processor audience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary real-time technical expert for TP1, TP2, TP3 staff and teach resolution paths.
• Author, review, and approve SOPs and KB articles across core operations.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions using SBIC to close skill gaps.
