Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Lead, Provider Services to optimize production workflows and drive team performance within a payor healthcare environment. The role reports to the Manager, Provider Data Operations and oversees staff across remote locations.

We offer base pay of $55,890–$73,355 per year, flexible benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses. Remote role, open to select US states with possible travel for events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience of provider data experience with a health insurance company.
• 1+ year of direct people management experience.
• 1+ years of experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• 1+ years of experience working with teams in multiple locations and multiple disciplines.
• Work according to the Work Location section above.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage a team of Oscar colleagues with direct responsibility for performance management, their growth and development, and HR administrative tasks.
• Manage your team's outcomes, monitor dashboards, and track operational KPIs, conducting root-cause analysis and constructing action plans when issues arise.
• Understand daily work of your team, making volume-based decisions to best serve our customers.
• Lead team huddles, connect colleagues to Oscar's mission and values, and motivate to achieve daily objectives.
• Be a culture carrier, driving engagement with your team and fostering an inclusive culture.
• Actively lead continuous improvement activities to develop a high-performing production team.
• Identify and close gaps on existing operational workflows.
• Collaborate across production and other Oscar teams to implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
