Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to support presales for commercial and enterprise accounts. You will discover customer needs, deliver technical demonstrations, and help manage proofs-of-value to demonstrate security capabilities.

Collaborating with Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers, you will contribute to technical wins and expand your cybersecurity and presales skills across Sales, Renewals, Support, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical support.

Responsibilities

• Support technical wins by partnering with sales reps and senior engineers during client calls and visits to qualify technical requirements and present solution capabilities.
• Requirements gathering to discover customer business needs, map security challenges, and align them with solution use cases.
• Deliver clear, effective technical demonstrations and assist in presenting solution proposals to key stakeholders.
• Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires with guidance from presales leadership.
• Help manage and execute Proof of Value activities to demonstrate solution performance against evaluation criteria.
• Build rapport with technical contacts in target accounts and address inquiries alongside Support.
• Support executive briefings, customer beta programs, and early adopter initiatives.
• Participate in presales enablement programs and stay current on security trends.
