Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to partner with commercial and enterprise sales teams, discovering customer needs, delivering solution demonstrations, and managing proofs‑of‑value to drive technical wins.

In this role you will work closely with Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers to qualify requirements, deliver clear demonstrations, and support technical responses while growing cybersecurity and presales skills across sales, renewals, support, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical support.
• Foundational knowledge in Security Solutions, Cloud & Virtualization Security, Data Protection/DLP, Network Security, Web Proxies, or SD-WAN.
• Certifications such as Security+, Network+, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, CCNA or vendor certs are preferred.
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Attention to detail in capturing requirements and assisting BOM creation.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and coachability to expand presales skills.

Responsibilities

• Support technical wins by partnering with sales reps and senior engineers on client calls to qualify requirements and present capabilities.
• Assist in discovering customer business needs, map security challenges, and align them with solution use cases.
• Deliver clear, effective technical demonstrations and assist in presenting solution proposals to stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires with presales guidance.
• Help manage and execute POV activities to demonstrate solution performance against criteria.
• Build rapport with technical contacts and assist with inquiries alongside Support, identifying expansion opportunities.
• Support Executive Briefings, beta programs, and early adopter initiatives with technical setup and demonstrations.
• Participate in presales enablement and share customer insights with Product teams.
