Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to partner with commercial and enterprise sales teams, uncover customer requirements, deliver solution demonstrations, and drive proofs-of-value to defend against evolving threats.

In this role you will work with Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers to gather needs, build trust, perform POVs, and support the full presales lifecycle across our security portfolio.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, or solutions engineering.
• Foundational knowledge in cloud & virtualization security, data protection, or network security.
• Introductory certifications preferred (Security+, Network+, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, CCNA).

Responsibilities

• Support technical wins by qualifying requirements and presenting capabilities.
• Gather customer business needs and map them to use cases.
• Deliver technical demos and assist in presenting proposals to stakeholders.
• Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires with presales guidance.
• Execute POV activities to demonstrate value against evaluation criteria.
• Assist technical contacts and identify expansion opportunities with Support.
• Support executive briefings, beta programs, and early adopter initiatives.
• Participate in presales enablement and share customer insights with Product teams.
