Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to partner with commercial and enterprise sales teams, uncovering customer requirements, delivering solution demonstrations, and managing proofs-of-value to win technical deals.

You will collaborate with Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers, supporting the full presales lifecycle across Trellix cybersecurity offerings and guiding POV/POC activities for potential customers.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical support.
Foundational knowledge in security solutions (cloud, data protection, network security, or SD-WAN).
Certifications such as Security+, Network+, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, CCNA are a plus.
Strong communication and detail orientation for BOMs and requirements.

Responsibilities

Support technical wins by qualifying technical requirements and presenting capabilities.
Gather customer needs, map security challenges to solutions, and support POV/POC activities.
Deliver clear technical demos and assist in proposals to stakeholders.
Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires under presales guidance.
Build rapport with technical contacts and identify expansion opportunities.
Support executive briefings, beta programs, and early adopter initiatives.
