Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to collaborate with commercial and enterprise sales teams, discovering customer requirements, delivering solution demonstrations, and managing proofs-of-value to win technical approvals. The role emphasizes growing cybersecurity presales skills and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical support.
• Certifications at introductory or intermediate level preferred (e.g., Security+, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, CCNA).
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Attention to detail in capturing technical requirements and assisting with accurate BOM creation.

Responsibilities

• Support Technical Wins: qualify technical requirements and present solution capabilities during client calls/visits.
• Requirements Gathering: discover customer business needs and map them to security use cases.
• Demos & Presentations: deliver clear technical demonstrations and present solution proposals.
• RFP/RFI Response Support: assist in technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
• Proof of Value (POV) Execution: help manage POV activities to show solution performance.
• Technical Account Assistance: address technical inquiries with Support and identify expansion opportunities.
• Executive Briefings & Betas: support setup and demos for executive briefings and beta programs.
• Continuous Learning & Feedback: participate in presales enablement and stay current on security trends.
