Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to collaborate with commercial and enterprise sales teams, discover customer requirements, deliver solution demonstrations, and manage proofs-of-value to help organizations defend against evolving threats.

In this role, you will work closely with Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers, building trust, executing POV activities, and supporting technical wins across our cybersecurity portfolio.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical support.
• Foundational knowledge in cloud & virtualization security, data protection & DLP, network security, web proxies or SD-WAN.
• Relevant introductory or intermediate certifications such as Security+, Network+, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, CCNA, or vendor security certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Technical Wins: partner with sales reps and senior engineers during client calls to qualify technical requirements and present solution capabilities.
• Requirements Gathering: assist in discovering customer business needs and mapping security challenges to use cases.
• Demos & Presentations: deliver clear technical demonstrations and assist in presenting solution proposals to stakeholders.
• RFP/RFI Response Support: contribute to technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires with presales guidance.
• Proof of Value (POV) Execution: help manage POV activities to demonstrate solution performance against evaluation criteria.
• Technical Account Assistance: build rapport with technical contacts and address inquiries alongside Support with expansion opportunities.
• Executive Briefings & Betas: support technical setup and demos for executive briefings and customer beta programs.
• Continuous Learning & Feedback: participate in presales enablement and stay current on security trends.
