Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer in the United States to partner with commercial and enterprise sales teams. You will discover customer requirements, deliver solution demonstrations, and manage proofs-of-value to help customers defend against evolving threats.

In this role you will work with Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers to drive technical wins, gather needs, and execute POVs while growing cybersecurity presales skills across Sales, Renewals, Support, and Product

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical support.
• Foundational knowledge in cloud security, data protection, network security, or virtualization security.
• Introductory or intermediate certifications such as Security+, Network+, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, CCNA.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Attention to detail for capturing requirements and BOM creation.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and coachability.

Responsibilities

• Support technical wins by qualifying requirements and presenting solution capabilities.
• Gather customer requirements and map them to security use cases.
• Deliver demos and presentations to stakeholders.
• Assist with RFIs/RFPs and security questionnaires.
• Contribute to POV execution and proof of value activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product teams.
• Participate in presales enablement and stay current on security trends.
• Build rapport with technical contacts and identify expansion opportunities.
