Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to partner with commercial and enterprise sales teams in driving technical wins. You will discover customer requirements, deliver solution demonstrations, and manage proofs-of-value to help organizations defend against evolving threats.

As a Junior Solutions Engineer, you will support the technical sales lifecycle, work with Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers, and help execute POVs to secure technical wins.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical support.
• Foundational knowledge in security areas such as cloud, data protection, networks, or container security.
• Introductory or intermediate certifications preferred (e.g., Security+, Network+, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, CCNA).
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Attention to detail in capturing technical requirements and assisting with BOM creation.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and coachability to expand presales skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Technical Wins: qualify technical requirements and present solution capabilities with sales.
• Requirements Gathering: map customer needs to security use cases.
• Demos & Presentations: deliver clear technical demonstrations and proposals.
• RFP/RFI Response Support: contribute to technical responses with presales guidance.
• Proof of Value (POV) Execution: manage POV activities to show solution performance.
• Executive Briefings & Betas: assist with demos for executive briefings and customer beta programs.
