Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to partner with sales teams in driving technical wins across our cybersecurity portfolio. You will discover customer requirements, deliver solution demonstrations, and manage proofs-of-value to defend against evolving threats.

In this role you will support the technical sales lifecycle for commercial and enterprise accounts, working with Account Executives and Senior Sales Engineers to build trust, execute POVs, and identify expansion opportunities

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, presales support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical support.
• Introductory or intermediate certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, AWS/Azure Fundamentals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Attention to detail with precision in capturing technical requirements and BOM creation.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and coachability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support technical wins: partner with sales reps and senior engineers during client calls to qualify requirements and present capabilities.
• Requirements gathering: discover customer business needs, map security challenges, and align with use cases.
• Demos & presentations: deliver clear technical demonstrations and present solution proposals to stakeholders.
• RFP/RFI response support: contribute to technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and questionnaires.
• Proof of Value execution: help manage POV activities to demonstrate solution performance.
• Technical account assistance: build rapport with technical contacts and address inquiries with Support.
• Executive briefings & betas: support technical setup and demos for executive engagements and beta programs.
• Continuous learning: participate in presales enablement and share customer insights with Product teams.
