Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IV&V Project Manager to lead independent verification and validation for complex technology programs. You will combine project management with independent assessment to advise clients, evaluate governance, risks, and delivery quality, and report to executives.

The role involves coordinating teams, guiding client communications, and driving improvement initiatives while mentoring junior analysts. Remote with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience leading technology implementation, modernization, system integration, or digital transformation initiatives.
• 2+ years performing IV&V, QA/QC, PMO governance, or independent assessment activities.
• Experience evaluating governance, risks, schedules, and readiness.
• Strong analytical, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Remote position with up to 30% travel; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead IV&V engagements for technology implementation and modernization programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute assessment activities and stakeholder interviews.
• Assess governance, risk, schedule performance, and delivery readiness.
• Develop findings, executive briefings, and client-facing reports.
• Communicate with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership with evidence-based insights.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to practice growth when opportunities arise.
