Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IV&V Project Manager to lead independent oversight and assessment activities for complex technology programs. This role blends traditional project management with independent verification and validation responsibilities to evaluate governance, project controls, risk management, schedule performance, quality management, and overall delivery effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years leading technology implementation, modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
• 2+ years performing IV&V, QA/QC, PMO governance, or independent assessment activities.
• Experience evaluating governance, risks, schedules, and delivery readiness.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM, Lean, Six Sigma are preferred.
• This is a remote role with up to 30% travel; occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IV&V engagements including governance, risk, and performance assessments.
• Coordinate document reviews, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and operational reviews.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and executive briefings for clients.
• Mentor junior analysts and support business development activities.
