DIRECTV is seeking an IT Software Engineer 2 to contribute to the next-generation CX orchestration platforms centered on AWS, Genesys Cloud, and Salesforce Service Cloud. This remote role can be located anywhere in the United States, excluding Alaska.

You will own development and design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and drive features from concept to deployment, while delivering reliable, scalable software.

Formación

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years in CCaaS or CX enterprise software.
• Experience with AWS and cloud deployments.
• Designing reliable workflows and integrations with major CRMs, especially Salesforce.
• Proficiency across multiple programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of system design principles.
• Experience delivering features from design to deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Make informed technical decisions based on end-to-end impact and data.
• Own development and design for assigned systems, ensuring scalable solutions.
• Lead feature development with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with product, QA, design, and other engineering pods daily.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold quality standards.
• Maintain technical documentation across the team.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex issues within a discipline.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support larger initiatives while leading smaller components.
• Communicate progress and blockers to team leads promptly.
