Job summary
DIRECTV is seeking a self-managed IT Software Engineer 2 to drive feature development within CX orchestration platforms centered on AWS, Genesys Cloud, and Salesforce Service Cloud. You will own design, implementation, and reliability while collaborating with product, QA, design, and other engineering pods.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of software engineering, strong CCaaS/CX experience, and proficiency across multiple languages.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years in high-scale CCaaS/CX enterprise software.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-native deployments.
- Strong design, coding and testing skills across languages.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations.
Responsibilities
- Make informed technical decisions based on end-to-end impact and data.
- Own development and design for assigned systems and components.
- Lead feature development with minimal oversight.
- Collaborate with product, QA, design, and other pods daily.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
- Maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex issues within a domain.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Lead smaller project components independently.
- Communicate progress and risks to leads to prevent delays.
