Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years experience in a pre-sales or technical support role preferred.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Well-versed in cloud software, networking, automation and control systems.
• Experience with hardware, sensors, or vehicles a plus.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Samsara products and how they enable digital transformation for physical operations.
• Conduct discovery to understand customer needs and answer tech questions, ideally in one call.
• Provide demo coverage and technical expertise across the Sales Team.
• Explain how devices are installed and wired to customers over the phone or in demos.
• Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts leveraging the Samsara API in testing environments.
• Advocate for AEs, prospects, and customers in internal technical discussions.
• Bridge product and sales teams by translating feedback to drive beta programs.
• Embody Samsara’s values as the company scales globally.
