Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1+ years experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Well-versed in cloud software, networking, automation and control systems.
• Experience with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Samsara products and translate technical capabilities into customer-focused solutions.
• Demonstrate quick discovery to understand customer needs and answer technical questions.
• Be highly available for standard demo/account coverage and temporary technical expertise across the Sales Team.
• Understand how devices are installed and explain integrations via Samsara API.
• Educate customers on technical aspects of APIs and deploy scripts in testing environments.
• Act as liaison between product and sales, translating feedback for beta programs.
• Champion Samsara’s values and operating principles as we scale globally.
