Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sales Engineer to join a diverse, technically minded team delivering our Connected Operations technology to customers. You’ll engage in conversations around logistics, fleet maintenance, and asset management, working with IoT hardware, sensors, cloud infrastructure, and APIs to craft the right technical solution.

This remote US role covers the TOLA region, with relocation not provided. You’ll collaborate with account executives and demonstrate Samsara’s hardware, software,

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 1+ years experience in pre-sales or support with customers is preferred.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Samsara products and how they meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate quick and efficient discovery to understand customer requirements.
• Be highly available for demo/account coverage and cross-team collaboration.
• Explain device installation and deployment basics to prospects.
• Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts in testing environments.
• Advocate for the AE’s, prospects, and customers in internal discussions.
• Translate technical feedback to product and drive beta program participation.
• Model and embody Samsara’s values as the company scales.
