Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to join the Patient Support Services team. You will enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients, ensuring demographics, allergies, medication history, comorbidities and payer information are accurately recorded.

The role focuses on making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, coordinating with doctors, and translating prescription information into the dispensing software. Compliance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college preferred.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per employee’s residing state’s requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and verify patient information.
• Place calls to patients and coordinate with prescribers and doctors.
• Assist in triaging prior authorizations with providers and insurance companies.
