Job summary

Lumicera is hiring an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete patient records. The role involves calling patients, collecting demographics, allergies, medication history and payer information, and transferring data to the dispensing software.

Responsibilities include handling inbound/outbound calls, coordinating with prescribers, and assisting with prior authorizations and documentation. Compliance with laws and internal policies is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Place phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance, billing information).
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage the assigned workflow queues.
• Document information and prescription order setup accurately and thoroughly.
• Comply with all applicable laws and maintain high ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
