Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and gather complete information for records. You will communicate with patients, doctors, and insurance providers to facilitate triage and prior authorizations as needed.

Responsibilities include handling calls, documenting orders, and ensuring accuracy in the dispensing software. The role supports various pharmacy technician duties and operates within regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to enroll patients and manage payer information.
• Strong phone and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services and record billing information.
• Answer inbound calls from patients and prescribers.
• Contact doctors to obtain information as needed.
• Manage workflow queues and ensure thorough documentation.
