Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete patient records. The role involves coordinating care, collecting demographics, allergies, medication history, and payer information, and translating prescription details for dispensing software.

You will triage prior authorizations, communicate with providers, and support the pharmacy team while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Enrolling new Specialty Pharmacy patients with complete records.
• Translating prescription information for dispensing in pharmacy software.
• Assisting with prior authorizations and payer information when needed.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including care management and billing information.
• Answer inbound calls from patients and prescribers.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Maintain accurate documentation for prescriptions and orders.
• Comply with federal and state laws and uphold ethics.
